About Adam Lamb, founder of The 1% Doctor
For most of his career Adam Lamb has built, run, scaled and advised healthcare businesses. He looks at a practice the way an owner does, because he has built and sold a healthcare company of his own. He started The One Percent Doctor to give private practice physicians that view of their own business.
An operator first
Adam founded a telehealth company, grew it to serve patients in all 50 states, passed 20,000 patients and sold it in 2023. Along the way he worked on every part of the business: offers and pricing, sales, marketing, staffing, operations, systems and CRM, patient acquisition and retention, technology and growth strategy.
Over his career he has advised thousands of physicians and healthcare professionals across private practice, telemedicine, cash-pay medicine, regenerative medicine, hormones and peptides, and about a dozen healthcare companies. He has helped launch more than 50 practices from the ground up and helped many more move from insurance-dependent models to cash-pay, recurring revenue and direct-to-consumer care.
