The 1% Doctor Method: a 90-day roadmap built around your practice
Every engagement starts the same way. We look at the whole business before anyone recommends a service, find the one constraint holding the practice back, and build the next 90 days around it.
Why we diagnose before we prescribe
You would never prescribe before an exam. Practice owners get prescribed to all the time: an SEO company sells SEO, an ad agency sells ads, a CRM vendor sells a CRM. Each one fixes the part it sells, and nobody is responsible for the whole business.
So a practice buys more ads while new-patient calls go to voicemail, and pays twice for every patient it does book, or hires another provider before the schedule, pricing and front desk can support one: good work, done in the wrong order.
We start from the other end: what you want the practice and your life to look like, where the business is today, and which single constraint stands between the two. Only then do we decide what to build, and who builds it.
The Physician Freedom Continuum
The continuum measures how much freedom your practice gives you: time, income and say over how you practice medicine. Each stage needs a different kind of help. The assessment shows where you are today, so the roadmap fits the stage you are actually in.
Six steps, repeated every 90 days
The first three steps happen before we build anything. The last three run over the following 90 days.
We review the numbers, your offers and pricing, the team, the schedule, your marketing and the systems behind them. We also ask what you want, because the right plan for a solo cash-pay clinic is the wrong plan for a three-location group.
Out of everything the assessment finds, we pick the one or two constraints that limit growth right now and park the rest for a later cycle.
We turn that constraint into a 90-day roadmap: a short list of moves, who owns each one, and the number that tells us it worked.
You and your team do the work only you can do. Our team takes the rest: the website, the campaigns, the CRM, the scripts, the SOPs.
We track the KPIs the roadmap named, every week, so nobody has to guess whether it is working.
At day 90 we adjust what the numbers say, reassess the practice and set the next roadmap.
Standardized intelligence, customized strategy, systemized execution
The assessment and the KPIs are the same for every physician, so Adam's team can compare your practice with what they have seen across thousands of physicians. The strategy is yours alone, built around your vision. The execution runs on documented systems, so it keeps working when a staff member leaves or a vendor changes.
Build the practice and build the leader
A practice grows as far as the physician leading it. Each roadmap carries work on both.
What surrounds the method
Strategy sits at the center, with education and the execution team around it.
"He gives me practical steps to take."
Questions about the method
No. The roadmap is yours. Some practices hand us the execution, some use their own staff or existing vendors, and many mix the two. We recommend whoever is best placed to do each piece.
Business questions only: your services, pricing, patient volume, team, marketing and goals. We never ask for patient health information.
Yes. For a new practice the assessment covers the business model, the startup plan and the launch, and the first roadmap takes you to opening day. See our medical practice startup consulting.
Long enough to make a real change and measure it, short enough that the plan never drifts far from the numbers. Every quarter starts from what actually happened in the last one.
Start with the assessment
The assessment is step one of the method: business questions about your practice and your goals. Adam's team reviews it and talks it through with you.
